On 1 October in San Marino one of the meetings dedicated to the School of Self-Awareness took place. In this course Patrizio Paoletti explored the tools needed to move from an accidental life, in which everything simply happens to us, to one where we can prefigure the future we want, answering the question: “What is the life I want?”.
A path of awareness in which we need to find a state of bioeurythmy, that is, the right rhythm of life that lets us seize the opportunities life offers from time to time, understanding that what happens accidentally can become not a limit but a source of training.
Paoletti stressed the importance, as a first step, of “learning to be ready by prefiguring what I truly desire, so that I can seize it as soon as life presents it to us.”
In this study of our inner world there are two fundamental pillars we cannot do without: learning to develop will and attention so as to be ready when the opportunity arrives, thus moving towards the possibility of building one’s own destiny.
A destiny that, Paoletti reminds us, includes myself in relation to others, where my growth is interconnected with the growth of the whole. It is therefore essential to develop “the habit of acting that constantly considers the opportunity contained in relationship as personal and collective growth, setting off a process of continuous improvement in order to generate lasting happiness.”
